1. All patrons, regardless of age, are required to have a ticket in order to enter the venue.
2. Some events are restricted to 18 and older, or 21 and older.
3. There are no cameras or recording devices allowed.
4. No outside beverages or food are allowed into the venue.
5. Our floor plan changes for most every show. Please call the box office (248-399-2980) or visit the events listing for specific seating charts.
6. Picture ID must be presented for all credit card purchases.

Regular box office hours are Monday thru Friday, Noon to 6pm. On event days, the box office will be open a minimum of 2 hours before doors, and stay open at least 1 hour after doors. Our onsales are Fridays at Noon.
Winners of radio station or other promotional tickets must have picture ID in the name of the order. The box office cannot make any changes to names on these tickets. Any requests for name changes to winners must be done through the radio station or organization where the tickets were won.
For paid Will Call – The name on the order (the one shown on the receipt) is the person who must be physically present to pick-up the tickets. You must have picture ID, and may need the credit card or the confirmation number as well. If you purchased the tickets for someone else to use – the name on the order must be changed in advance of doors. Even if the last name is the same – we will not release tickets to anyone other than the person listed on the receipt of the order.
The Box Office accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card as forms of payment. We do not accept personal checks. There are no service charges when tickets are purchased in person. All credit card purchases require picture ID.
Tickets can be picked up 2 hours prior to event time at the box office. Bring picture ID, the credit card used to purchase the tickets, and confirmation number. We cannot release tickets if the name on the order does not match the name on the picture ID. The name on an order will be under the name on the credit card used for the purchase. If a name needs to be changed on an order, the person whose credit card was used for the purchase must call the box office to make the changes.
The Royal Oak Music Theatre is happy to accommodate patrons with special needs. For General Admission events you must arrive no later than fifteen minutes before the scheduled door time. Please inform the box office that you require special seating. We will place you at the head of the line, and security will escort you to the assigned area in Section D on the Right side. For Reserved Seated shows, it is important that you call the Box Office in advance to ensure that the appropriate accessible seating is purchased. Please call the box office at (248) 399-2980 ext. 3.
Map & Directions
There are two parking structures located on Lafayette Ave., one on either side of 4th street. Additional metered street parking is available throughout the city. The garage to the South of 4th Street takes paper money, the garage to the North of 4th street is metered and you need to bring quarters. There is no specific parking designated for the theatre.
There is a Smart Bus Station located at Lafayette Ave. & Sherman Dr.
For the convenience of patrons, a permanent taxi stand is now located on Second St. between Center St. & Washington Ave., in front of the Royal Oak Post Office. Taxis and Limos may ‘stand’ in this area between the hours of 7 PM and 3 AM daily.
